The Inspiration

This commission began with a client drawn to the timeless elegance of iconic structured handbags. While inspired by classic luxury silhouettes, the goal was to create something that felt uniquely personal rather than a direct reproduction.

Through collaboration and design exploration, the concept evolved into a piece that balanced familiarity with individuality.

The Design Evolution

Several concepts were explored before returning to the silhouette that originally resonated most with the client.

To create a more distinctive identity, the traditional straight flap was reimagined with a graceful curved profile. This subtle adjustment preserved the structure and sophistication of the original inspiration while introducing a softer, more artistic character that would become a defining feature of The Arc.

The Artwork

Floral artwork was envisioned from the very beginning of the commission process.

Hand-painted directly onto the leather, the botanical composition was designed to complement the curved silhouette, bringing together craftsmanship and artistic expression in a way that feels both elegant and personal.

The result is a one-of-one piece created specifically for its owner.
